Using Organic and Natural Cosmetics

Organic skin care is not only limited to skin treatments. Even the cosmetics industry is joining the bandwagon to advocate organic beauty products. Typically, women use makeup to enhance their assets or conceal their flaws. However, using just about any cosmetic product can be risky; you do not know what chemicals are being added to it. Commonly, artificial fragrances, mineral oil and dyes are part of commercialized cosmetic items. For the face and cheeks, an all-natural concealer pen is a must-have. The key ingredients of this product are Shea butter, jojoba oil and avocado oil, which all aid in healing the skin. By concealing dark under-eye circles and pimple scars, the concealer pen also rejuvenates your face. For the lips, organic lip products are also available. Lipsticks from Dr. Hauschka work wonders in moisturizing tired and chapped lips. Their products contain significant amounts of Shea butter, jojoba oil and almond extract that make them easy to apply. Natural skin care makeup is different from that of commercialized brands.

The difference lies in what constitutes the whole product—the ingredients, pigments and the extracts added. Unlike most chemical-based cosmetics, organic makeup uses only natural pigments and pure plant extracts that are healthy for the skin.
